Google Unveils The Pixel 3

The phones could continue to receive updates and security patches beyond that date, but Pixel 3 buyers can rest assured that they’ll have instant access to the latest and greatest Android software through at least Android 12. There is also no microSD slot for expansion.

The Pixel joins LG’s V40 in sporting a second front lens to fit more people into selfies. Buyers across the European Union can expect the same pricing structure for the Pixel 3 phones, assuming Boulanger posted accurate information. These are all improvements over the Pixel 2 range launched year. Gboard, the keyboard built into your Pixel 3, will recommend GIFs, stickers and more, to make your conversations fun and engaging.

For those wanting a compact powerful device, the Pixel 3 certainly will be that. One of the 8MP sensors comes as a wide angle one. To put it simply, it’s not good news.

The zoom is now aided by a Super Res Zoom feature, which uses computation photography from the world of astronomy and scientific imaging to provide sharper details when you’re zooming. But once you throw in the accessories, the Slate becomes a bit more pricey. Always On also makes a comeback.

Going from a small experiment to a polished product backed by large sales, support and technical teams has been part of Google’s challenge. Google hasn’t yet discussed prices for its Pixel phones.
