Samsung Galaxy A9 is the First Quad-Camera Phone

Moving onto the interesting aspect of the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), it’s the first smartphone in the world to launch with four cameras on the rear side, and only the second smartphone to launch with five cameras on board.
Samsung Galaxy A9 becomes the worlds No 1 quad camera smartphone which was unveiled for the first the United Kingdom.
The 24-megapixel main lens captures clearer and brighter images in both bright and low-light conditions, while the ultrawide lens and the scene optimizer allow users to shoot scenes more like a professional.
The 4th camera is the depth camera and features a 5 MP lens with an aperture of f2.2 with live focus.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) gets a starting price tag of Euro 599 (roughly INR 51,300), while the handset will start shipping in November.
The Galaxy 9 will be available in select markets including India from November. While the camera is the main takeaway of the Samsung Galaxy A9, the internals are pretty impressive as well. Is this practical or just a marketing ploy?
To recap, this smartphone features a 6-inch Super AMOLED display pushing a Full HD+ resolution of 2220×1080 pixels.
However, before the official launch, the Galaxy A9 (2018) is spotted on the Geekbench listing. Being launched in the mid-range segment, the Galaxy device surprisingly comes with 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage (A 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option are also available).
The handset gets fuelled by a 3800mAh battery with support for fast charging.
Along with all of these smartphone snappers Samsung has also included some clever software to help users make the a lot of them.
There’s also a 24MP camera at the front.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy A9 will cost €599 in Europe and £549 in the U.K. Because of this, there’s a good chance the phone won’t be making its way to the USA any time soon.
But let’s be honest, the Galaxy A9 is all about that quadruple camera. Thanks to this construction the A9 measures 162.5 x 77 x 7.8 mm and weighs in at 183g but should feel comfortable in the hand with its 3D Glass curved back.
