Halo 5 Xbox One console announced alongside Halo Wars 2
News about the Xbox One limited edition Halo 5 console bundle arrived on Twitter along with its October 20, 2015 release date. No, snarky reader, it’s not merely the $500 price tag.
Here’s a look at the new Limited Edition Halo 5: Guardians – Spartan Locke controller.
If you already have an Xbox One but still want some unique Halo 5 hardware, Microsoft say it will be selling the controller from the console bundle individually, as well as another controller with a Master Chief-inspired design featuring his signature green and orange colors. The cool stuff is always physical, like the Guardian model by Metal Earth, and an item called “Spartan Locke’s Classified Orders”.
From the metallic blue accents and military insignias to the custom sound effects, this is dedicated to Halo fans. It all gets rounded out with a digital copy of the animated series Halo: The Fall of Reach, and – in the package’s only peculiar move – a download voucher for the game inside said Steel Book.
Store games and media with a 1TB internal hard drive and an Xbox One Chat Headset. The first bundle announced was the Xbox One Federation Internationale de Football Association 16 bundle, expected to release in September, the second bundle included Halo 5. If you love this franchise and desire the latest generation of Microsoft console, then this has to be the best purchase for you.
