Homefront: The Revolution Re-Revealed at Gamescom, New Trailer Released
That’s the message of Homefront: The Revolution – which is now actually a game that exists. Using hit and run tactics, ambushes and infiltration, the resistance relies on surprise attacks and an arsenal of improvised weapons to throw back the oppressors and spread the flame of revolution.
Homefront: The Revolution will be an open-world shooter set in the city of Philadelphia, which-along with the rest of the US-is under the oppressive control of a globe-spanning Korean corporation. Players fought as part of an underground resistance in order to try and bring down the occupation.
But the enemy has the advantage – superior technology, firepower, heavy armor and air support.
We haven’t heard much about Homefront: The Revolution, the sequel to THQ’s much-maligned Red Dawn-esque shooter Homefront. Fighting in an open world environment, players can either engage in the single player campaign or in a new multiplayer cooperative experience to form their own resistance cells for waging war against the foreign occupiers.
