I never spent RM2.6bn on election campaign: Mahathir
Dr. Mahathir said he was willing to have his bank details from his 22 years as prime minister inspected by those who have no personal interest against him.
“During the 1964 and 1969 elections, I had received RM20, 000 from the Head Office to be distributed to Parliamentary and State constituencies”.
In an interview with TV1 today, Abdul Rahman said that Najib, as Umno and BN president has to cough up more to support the party nationwide because under his tenure, the party no longer ruled Selangor and several other states.
Barisan Nasional strategic communications chief Datuk Abdl Rahman Dahlan says it is not unusual that RM2.6 billion would be needed to fund Umno in its quest to take back Selangor from the federal opposition.

He said, he was finally fined RM130, 000 and at that time we was already appointed a Minister in the government.
