Hillary Clinton to hold another Minnesota fundraiser
Sanders said his commitment to changing the plight of a shrinking middle class resonates with a large portion of the country.
Last week’s event was college student Mathew Riedel’s second time at a Sanders event.
Sanders already talks about the need to act on climate, but Friends of the Earth Action hopes that its support can push him to spotlight environmental issues even more.
Last week was when what one could perhaps call the real work of his organizing effort began. “We really don’t. So be nice and positive”. That doesn’t only impact negatively GOP candidates looking to distinguish themselves from the pack, but those seeking attention seeking the Democratic nomination as well. The temporary jobs it may provide some U.S. workers don’t come close to balancing its risks, and the world needs to reduce its use of environmentally destructive fossil fuels, not increase them.
While the race for 2016 has been dominated by Republican Party rhetoric and jockeying for position in this week’s debate in Cleveland, there’s something very different going on with the race on the Democratic side of the aisle.
So while it would be logical for her campaign to target women and encourage them to help vote in the nation’s first female president, the numbers aren’t matching up. “I was pretty disgusted with it”. She is an NPR contributor and has contributed to USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, National Review Online, Politico and more, and has myriad television and radio credits as a commentator.
The endorsement capped a week during which Sanders welcomed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s support for solar power and energy efficiency, but questioned her refusal to take a stand on construction of the Keystone XL oil pipeline and drilling for oil in the Arctic Ocean.
“He has proven himself a bold and fearless voice for the planet”, Pica said of Sanders in a prepared statement. “I think you will see that our campaign makes significant inroads all across the country”.
Jacki Trevino, 51, and Brad Howard, 50, sat a few rows in front of Wulff and Eviston. “I have since matured”, Young-Otterstrom said. “I’ve never been involved in politics as much as I have this year”.
Howard said he has been a consistent Republican voter. She held a private fundraiser in June. Howard said he might. Clinton campaigned at the Wausau Labor Temple the day before Wisconsin’s primary election in 2008, and had the backing of local labor unions in the past. Go for 1,000 just to be safe, she urged, because all signatures must be certified as valid.
The letter and the petition specifically ask Sen. The Internet and social media are big among the Sanders crowd.
A half hour into the meeting, the lights dimmed and a screen over the stage showed live video from a house in Washington, D.C. Around 30 supporters of the independent socialist gathered at The Bar of Wausau in Rothschild to watch the speech, get information on Sanders and show support for the candidate.
