US Former President Carter undergoes liver surgery

Former President Jimmy Carter underwent surgery on Monday, during which he had what his staff is describing as a “small mass” removed from his liver.
The 90-year-old former president endured the elective procedure at the Emory University Hospital University in Atlanta, Georgia. She says the operation was accomplished with none points and Mr. Carter’s “prognosis is superb for a full restoration”.
Mr. 90, Peterson, was the 39th president in the nation’s. He is now the second oldest-living president after George H.W. Bush, who is 91. After leaving the White House, he founded his center in Atlanta in 1982 to promote health care, democracy and other issues globally.
In May, Carter cut short a trip to Guyana, where he traveled to observe national elections, because he was feeling under the weather and returned to Atlanta.
