Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” Video Gets A Wax Spot At Madame Tussauds
Nicki Minaj just got a wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas and she or he did not even know in that it was occurring!
The 32-year-old entertainer found out about the wax figure on social media and posted some of the photos on her Instagram account.
The wax museum on the Las Vegas Strip unveiled Tuesday the world’s first figure of recording artist Nicki Minaj.
The figure was then positioned into a provocative pose from the Anaconda video, which broke a Vevo record of 500 million views. You can see Minaj in the Music Room over at Madame Tussauds where she will be located permanently.
First sculpted in clay to precise measurements taken from the Starships artist, the wax figure itself was created in a plaster cast with details like hair and eyes added later.
The new addition further supports the point Minaj was making earlier this month about “Anaconda” being shafted for Video of the Year.
Nicki joins singers like Lady Gaga and actresses like Sandra Bullock in the famous museum’s collection.
I think we can start the very short countdown on the inevitable headline about a man violating Nicki’s wax figure.
“YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WTF?!?!?!?!??!?? Had no idea they were really doing this”. #HappyBirthdayAnaconda, ‘ she wrote along with a video of the figure. Backup dancers too? Yup – they’re included in the exhibit!
