Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale file for divorce
In a 2010 interview with Details magazine, Rossdale said he “threw a party in New Orleans just as an excuse to hang out with her” during the tour and that the two spent a tipsy night strolling the French Quarter.
The No Doubt frontwoman has been married to fellow singer Rossdale for nearly 13 years.
Stefani filed divorce papers in California citing irreconcilable differences and Rossdale filed his response at the same time.
Gwen Stefani’s life with Gavin Rossdale and their three sons, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 6, and Apollo, 17 months, was everything the Voice coach wanted and more – until their marriage failed, that is.
Rossdale is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of Bush, who is known for their hit 1994 album “Sixteen Stone“, and 1996’s “Razorblade Suitcase”.
“Their priority is making sure they maintain a safe and secure home for their children regardless of what’s happening”, a source told People.
The statement adds they “remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising” their sons in “a happy and healthy environment”. “To that finish, we respectfully request privateness from the media throughout this time”.
The two reportedly have no prenup, and Stefani is asking the judge to deny Gavin spousal support. She wrote: “Wow #Montana u r so handsome #favoritevacaever #neverwanttogohome”.
Stefani posted a picture online a week ago in which she appeared to be on holiday in Montana.
