Trailer of Steve Jobs documentary out
Directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney, the documentary highlights the life of the late Apple co-founder, reported Ace Showbiz. Theh upcoming documentary from Magnolia Pictures and CNN Films was shared withMashable.
The trailer is of the documentary “Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine” starring Steve Jobs himself, along with his ex-colleagues and friends coming together to narrate possibly the truest story of Steve Jobs life, personality and achievements.
When the film debuted earlier this year, it was criticized heavily mostly by Apple employees and many even walked out while the movie was being screened. Stephen Silver of EntertainmentTell called the film “Wholly unoriginal” stating that “We’ve seen not only this same material but versions of this same take on the material from multiple books, magazine articles, thinkpieces, one-man monologue shows, and even the Ashton Kutcher Jobs movie”.
The trailer opens with Jobs wearing his iconic turtle neck top with a pair of blue jeans in an expo.
Alex Gibney is one of the most respected documentary filmmakers in the world, with a reputation for tackling sensitive and controversial subjects in a very precise and methodical manner.
Steve Jobs: The Man In The Machine is set for release ahead of Danny Boyle’s Jobs – it’s going on limited release on September 4th in the USA.
