Arian Foster Suffering From Groin Injury
Foster is ranked as the sixth-best available running back for fantasy football, according to ESPN’s Matthew Berry.
Foster has been a true workhorse for the Texans; however, injuries have periodically slowed him down at times.
Unfortunately, Foster has suffered a groin injury early on during Texans’ training camp. He missed half of the 2013 season with an injury and missed three games last year while being limited in others due to both hamstring and groin injuries.
Unsurprisingly, Texans head coach Bill O’Brien expressed his desire to pound the rock in 2015, provided Foster was up to the task physically, according to Ganguli.
The former undrafted running back is signed through the 2016 season, following an extension in 2012. For a player who averaged 3.1 yards per carry and struggled with pass protection last season, he may not be worth it. Instead, think about using a late-round selection on Polk.

Foster turns 29 in a few weeks, and he’s making $6 million this year. But when it comes to the Texans’ depth chart, there’s no clear backup behind Foster.
