Suspect dead after report of gunshots at theater

The shooting comes less than two weeks after a gunman opened fire in a movie theater in Lafayette, Louisiana, killing two people and wounding nine others before taking his own life.

Erick Vale, 32, an Uber driver, advised The Tennessean newspaper that he was dropping off passengers within the theater’s parking zone when he heard gunshots.

The suspect reportedly began attacking people during a showing of “Mad Max: Fury Road”. The official returned fire.

Mr Aaron said the mask worn by the attacker may have been used to protect him from the chemical spray. Gas masks were brought to officers because the theater was thick with pepper spray.
