Rick Perry challenges Donald Trump to pull-up contest

Perry delivered another meaty speech Wednesday in which he pitched a host of Wall Street reforms while linking the 2008 financial crisis to Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton. That the game is rigged.
Wall Street “corruption has turned capitalism into cronyism”, he added. The fact of the matter is, to be quite frank: “we got screwed”.
He attacked “Warrenism”, the progressive brand of politics represented by Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, and said the agency she helped create, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, was imposing an unfair regulatory burden.
Breaking up banks into smaller corporations to “unlock the worth of their distinct elements”. And pro-Perry PACs seemed to have hardly any major donations from big banks’ PACs or employees in the midyear reports.
Trump shocked listeners earlier this month by mocking Sen. However, Wall Street’s popularity isn’t what it as soon as was. “And there’s a reason for that: one analysis recently estimated that more than a third of Florida’s job growth under Jeb Bush’s administration was due to the housing bubble”. They blame bankers for it.
With President Obama set to unveil a set of environmental regulations that will sharply cut planet-warming greenhouse gas emissions from the nation’s power plants, Perry said President Obama is doing everything he can to destroy the economy of this country. “The banks looked away. Bankers are a few levels below funds on the Wall Street food chain”. He was quoted saying he believes that he stands out from the Washington insiders running as an outsider who can bring change. “Once the smoke cleared, Congress misdiagnosed the problem, passed the wrong remedy and actually made things worse”, Perry said.
“By hitting Donald [Trump] he is getting his name out there which may cause his poll numbers to rise”. Trump’s comments came during an interview in his Manhattan office with a British tabloid website.
That doesn’t mean Perry won’t have fun in the meantime, though.
After enduring Donald Trump’s barrage of insults for weeks, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry told the billionaire businessman to put up or shut up on Wednesday, challenging him to a pull-up contest.
“Let’s get a pull-up bar out there and let’s see who can do the most pull-ups”, he said.
Wall Street would probably be into that.
