Asus Zenfone Selfie launched at Rs 15999; Specs details!
The 5.5-inch smartphone has an enormous 5,000 milliamp-hour (mAh) battery – a huge capacity compared with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S6, which comes with a 2,550 mAh battery, or the iPhone 6 Plus, which has a 2,915 mAh battery.
The ZenFone 2 Deluxe and ZenFone 2 Laser are variations on the disruptive, recently announced ZenFone 2. The Selfie will be specifically dedicated for selfie lovers.
In fact, Asus announced the Zenfone Selfie at Computex last month. The phone is targeted at budget-conscious buyers, and will be available in 5.5- and 6-inch variants with a resolution of 1280 x 720 backed by Gorilla Glass 4.
The company’s second offering, the ZenFone Selfie will have two internal memory variants starting at Rs.15,999. Other features include 2GB of RAM along with 5-megapixel and 13-megapixel front- and rear-facing PixelMaster cameras, respectively, both with a wide f/2.0 aperture.
With the new Zenfone 2 variants, Asus aims to offer quality features at competitive prices. Internal storage is 16GB, but that’s further expandable via the microSD slot.
The Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe, the costliest of them all at Rs 22,999, comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display and is powered by a 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core processor with 4GB of RAM.
The ZenFone 2 Deluxe is the high-end smartphone whose USP is the back cover made of premium polygonal material.
Asus has dropped a 5,000mAh power plant into the Zenfone Max, and that big battery can do double duty as a powerbank to charge up other devices.
The company launched the ZenFone Laser, a phone that comes with laser autofocus at affordable prices for better low light photography.
The ZenPad C7.0 will be available for Rs 11,999 and with an audio cover it will come with Rs 14,999.
