Angry Birds 2 gamers angry at relentless asking for money

As expected, millions of mobile users have already downloaded the game, hoping to be entertained once again by Rovio’s biggest moneymakers.

The sequel to “Angry Birds” is not quite like the original, Rovio wanted to make it more challenging for players so it implemented a “limited lives” system similar to that of King’s “Candy Crush Saga”. Users have commented that it is better to spend a little less than a dollar for the game and be able to play the levels freely than to wait or even complete purchases just to keep playing. While those items can be avoided, they can be annoying at times especially when they pop on the screen every so often.

Despite the success of the game, a number of gamers were disappointed with some of its mechanics.

For the overwhelming part, though, people have come out saying that the new game is superior to previous renditions by far, and that it is worth playing. Instead, they will have to wait for about 30 minutes for the game to replenish their lives. Sure, it’s annoying to feel like you’re being shaken down by a title that you enjoy, particularly when you’d be more than happy to pay a few bucks initially to own the full game.

But, based on the game’s status, Rovio has successfully surpassed that mark.

As of the moment, “Angry Birds 2” is reveling at the top of the list of free downloads under Apple’s App Store in the USA while it is now on the second spot on Google Play after reaching around 10 million downloads following its release.
