OnePlus 2 sold in China in 64 Seconds
The invite system is only for worldwide customers living overseas, who can only purchase the OnePlus 2 if they have an official invite. The first is to be one of the many early backers of its previous flagship, the OnePlus One. The 16GB OnePlus 2 with 3GB LPPDR4 RAM will be available later this year.
However, the fledgling smartphone maker is already out of stock of the new OnePlus 2 handset. He has improved his odds of getting a OnePlus 2 invitation measurably. This is definitely not the fastest way to score an invite, but at least, you’ll have the invite in some time if you’re on that list.
As promotional moves go, this is a hugely redeeming strategy from a company which has drawn so much negative attention over the past couple of years.
The OnePlus Two was unveiled late last month after weeks of rumours and speculation.
There’s also its support for USB Type-C, which essentially means you can plug USB cables in to it either way up, adding a little convenience.
The OnePlus 2 got unveiled not so long ago and the hype built around it seems to be pretty big. One OnePlus fan by the name of Jake Cooper was angry. We are going to have to wait for more details to come in before we receive that confirmation. Shelling out $389 will net you 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
For the money you get a lot of performance and features.
There’s also no native wireless charging on either phone.
We don’t yet know if it stands up to the quality of Apple’s Touch ID, but OnePlus did put a touch-based fingerprint sensor in its new flagship. Purchasing the OnePlus Two ordinarily requires you to have an invite, obtained by registering your interest on the OnePlus website, but the phone is sold freely in its home country of China.
