Zayn Malik ended his engagement to Perrie Edwards via text message

Zayn Malik reportedly ended his engagement with his fiancee of two years, Perrie Edwards, by sending her a text message.

“She’s been putting on a fearless face as Little Mix have had promotion to do, but she’s obviously devastated”, a source told People magazine.

At the time, Malik tweeted: “I’m 22 years old, I love a girl named Perrie Edwards“.

Sources confirmed the end of Edwards and Malik’s engagement on Tuesday, noting that the duo had been broken up for about two weeks at the time of the announcement.

Edwards also seems to be getting massive support from her Little Mix bandmates. “Her close friends have told her she’s better off without him”.
