Prince William and his beautiful wife Kate Middleton have finally revealed the name of their new daughter. She will be called Charlotte Elizabeth Diana and this as revealed by the Kensington Palace announced on Monday.

The baby’s name honors Princess Diana the late mother of Prince William. Both he and his wife, Kate Middleton, were more than pleased to announce their daughter’s name. They said that Charlotte was one of the early favorites for their daughter’s name. Henceforth, their daughter will be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.

As per the release that came out, the baby will be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.

The cautiously chosen name includes manifold ties to the couple’s families. Firstly, it is a tribute to the late Princess Diana; secondly, the name includes Elizabeth, which is the name of the baby’s great grandmother. Well, thirdly, the middle name is linked to the Carole Middleton who is her maternal grandmother. The Duchess’ sisters’ name is Pippa and even her middle name is Charlotte. Thus, the Royal Baby’s name is a very carefully selected name.

The Kensington Palace aide reported that the names speak for themselves. On May 2, the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to the little Royal Highness, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge. The weight of the baby is 8 lbs and 3 oz. The Royal Baby’s name includes the names of all the great personalities which the world feels proud of. The little Royal Princess is also a pride of the world.

After the birth of their daughter, the royal couple shared a private moment with their bundle of joy, before prince William headed for home to bring their little son Prince George.
