The family of racing driver Kevin Ward, who was struck and killed by Tony Stewart during a race last year, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the NASCAR driver on Friday.
The suit was filed by Ward’s parents in Lewis County Supreme Court and claims Stewart deliberately accelerated as he saw Ward walking down the track after an incident between the pair on the previous lap.
He’ll try to focus on ending that streak.
