Foundation logo is revealed on Twitter !

Deepika Padukone has unveiled the “something special” she promised was coming on Thursday and it is an announcement of her new anti-depression foundation ‘Live Love Laugh.’. She talked about how she had experienced depression and took professional help to overcome it. In the process of learning more about this condition she came to know of the widespread nature of depression across the world; especially in India. Reason being, Deepika is getting constant congratulatory messages from all her friends, fans and family for the recently released teaser trailer of Bajirao Mastani.

In a report, the actress stated, “The battle against the disease is a cause near to my heart and is one of the major health matters confronting the country at the moment”.

The talented actress has also launched the logo of “Live Love Laugh” Foundation on Twitter.

According to Deepika, the foundation’s logo is based on the idea of hope and freedom.

The flying birds in logo specify the essence of foundation against Depression.

“I was fortunate to get the kind of support and through this platform I hope others get the same kind of help”. In an interview with NDTV’s Barkha Dutt in March, she said that she felt “empty and directionless” and that she would often lock herself in her bathroom or vanity van and cry. “My group and I are working hard to establish the foundation and the symbol launch is a small step in that course”.

Now, intent on helping others with the same problem, Deepika Padukone is launching this foundation that will engage with professionals and mental health institution to fight depression.
