Singers Zayn Malik, Perrie Edwards call off engagement

Perrie Edwards has been faced with her first interview since it was announced she and fianceé Zayn Malik have split – and of course her girls had her back.

“Perrie’s being supported by her band mates, but she’s really in pieces about this”, the source reportedly told People.

Just last week, Zayn said he will reveal the “real me” to fans, as he revealed he’d signed a new record contract as a solo artist.

The former One Direction singer has left his Little Mix fiancée “devastated”, according to a source.

Now that we think about it, this may actually be good news for One Direction fans all over the world!

The pair’s love was tested when Zayn was pictured with blonde Lauren Richardson, 26, shortly before he quit One Direction. The singers became engaged in 2013.

The end was all but confirmed Monday when Edwards’ bandmate Jesy Nelson posted a photo on Instagram showing Edwards without her diamond engagement ring.

Malik and Edwards have been dating since December 2011 after meeting on the set of The X Factor.
