‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Kicks Off Filming of Season 8
Real Housewives Of Atlanta season 8 is here. Nene Leakes won’t be returning to the show, but Andy Cohen is already working on the next season. Porsha Williams will resume her status as a full-time cast member.
Sheree famously pulled Kim Zolciak’s wig in the second season and during season four, she was seen fighting with her ex-husband, former NFL player Bob Whitfield, in a dispute over child support. When Moore wasn’t filming, she started dating a new man. But he later revealed that he was married to someone else.
“Obviously you will get to see a lot of our journey through this pregnancy, but other than that it will be drama as usual”, the star noted. NeNe wanted to focus on other project and career ventures, so she wanted to leave the drama behind. She told, “I’m actually going to be doing a new primetime television show with a big legend”. This means fans are waiting to see which of the housewives will not be coming back.
The reality stars were important to the show, because of their long-standing fights and numerous arguments.
“Claudia Jordan learned the hard way not to mess with Nene Leakes, because she’s been fired”, wrote Us Weekly.
Porsha Williams got less screen time after Season 6, but came back strong in Season 7.
NeNe Leakes announced earlier this year that she was leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta after many seasons of being the only original housewife in Atlanta.
And while NeNe Leakes announced her departure before the ladies were signing on for another season, Andy Cohen had a feeling that Leakes wouldn’t continue with the show.
