Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux wed
After being engaged for three years, Aniston and Theroux were married in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their family and closest friends.
A day after the nuptials the newlyweds were again pictured boarding a private jet, assumed to be heading to their honeymoon destination and judging by their outfits, it looks like they’re going somewhere warm!
Among the invitees was Aniston’s one-time “Friends” co-star Lisa Kudrow and comedian Chelsea Handler.
And like a good maid of honor, Courteney Cox was apparently one of the last to leave – right after Ellen DeGeneres and Jimmy Kimmel – at around 3 A.M.!
Theroux proposed to Aniston, whom he met on the set of 2008’s Tropic Thunder, on his birthday back in 2012. News that the couple finally tied the knot comes after TMZ showed photos of outdoor table settings, a dance floor and even a wedding cake at their property.
Aniston and Theroux are now honeymooning in Bora Bora, Hello! reports, celebrating their marriage and excellent secret wedding work.
Speaking about her engagement ring in an interview earlier this year, estimated to be around 8 carats, she said: “I just think it’s so handsome”. “He just gets better every year”.
Sources originally told TMZ that Jen told pals she was throwing a surprise birthday bash for her beau – who turns 44 next Monday.
A massive shed was built in her backyard to hide all the party supplies, and staffers’ phones were confiscated to keep them from spilling the beans.
Both were dressed casually for the plane ride, with Aniston, 46, sporting a black-and-white striped tank, skinny jeans and floppy summer hat, while Theroux wore a white tee, black jeans and pork pie hat.
The wedding in her garden was very different from Aniston’s wedding to Pitt in August 2000, which took place on a Malibu cliff top with four bands, a gospel choir and fireworks.
