Minnesota Vikings open NFL pre-season with win over Pittsburgh Steelers

Reports are Adrian Peterson will be held out for this game and all of the preseason. Both the Vikings and Steelers are looking to have better seasons than last year and while the preseason doesn’t guarantee anything during the regular season getting out to a nice start is positive. Football is back.
The guys on the field for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings will be more Who’s That? Running back Cameron Stingily was the other. Jones is being challenged by former Clemson star Tajh Boyd.

The early returns weren’t exactly promising. “On Pittsburgh”s second series, Cole forced a fumble that safety Antone Exum returned 32 yards. Shaun Suisham’s opened the scoring with a 36-yard field goal in the second quarter was the lone score for the Steelers. If they did work, they went in Pittsburgh’s favor. Four snaps, however, produced zero points.
Minnesota didn’t have almost as much trouble finding the end zone after the early near miss.
Backup Mike Kafka took over for Bridgewater and played the rest of the first half, while rookie Tyler Heinicke played the entire second half.
Rookie Stefon Diggs set up Banyard’s run with a 62-yard punt return. We all acknowledge that the game is slightly different on third down or in the red area, or goal line and-short yardage. Wallace starred for the Steelers from 2009-12….
Waynes was called for another holding penalty and a 38-yard pass interference as the Steelers began picking on him.
Dupree fell right into the Steelers lap with the 22nd overall pick, and will be thrust into the starting lineup because of the lackluster pass rush in Pittsburgh.
