Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump won’t apologize for Megyn Kelly

ICYMI: The billionaire made headlines again after making derogatory remarks about Fox News correspondent Megyn Kelly following last week’s GOP debate.

Trump has since blasted Kelly, saying on CNN Friday night that she had “blood coming out of her eyes”.

Asked about his Twitter account retweeting someone who called Kelly a “bimbo”, Trump responded: “I thought the kind of questions she was asking me were inappropriate and they were the questions that somebody, you could make the case”, he said, trailing off. “Only a sick person would even think about it”.

The tension between Fox News host Megyn Kelly and presidential candidate Donald Trump is still the buzz, four days after the debate.

Trump maintained Monday that he never intended to say anything inappropriate about Kelly and said the uproar over his criticism was “all fueled by the press”.

The first question was on Donald Trump’s insult of Rosie O’Donnell and his insults of reality show contestants.

“They want someone who’s an outsider, who can upset the applecart”, said Craig Robinson, a former director of the Iowa Republican Party. “Flippant comments eventually catch up with you”.

Referring to Trump’s loud griping, Rupert Murdoch, executive chairman of Fox News Channel’s parent company, 21st Century Fox, stood by the network’s talent, remarking on social media, “Baier, Kelly, Wallace great job Thursday”.

The other 16 Republican candidates fighting for attention and breathing room in a primary field eclipsed by Trump hoped he’d be finished off by latest firestorm to consume his campaign, sparked by provocative comments about women.

“Only a deviant would say that what I said was what they were referring to”.

Trump swiped the spotlight at the beginning of last Thursday’s debate when he was the only candidate not to rule out a third-party candidacy.

He continued: “I said she was so angry that blood was coming out of her eyes – blood was coming out of her – and then I didn’t even finish the answer because I wanted to get on to the next point”. He said on ABC’s “This Week”, “Jeb Bush, on women’s health issues, just destroyed his relationship with women”.

“I don’t think that’s our role”.

We also can’t ignore the fact that the smarter Republicans know that they’re going to have a real problem with women voters in 2016-particularly if Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee and they have the chance to elect the first woman president. But he insisted, “I have nothing against Megyn Kelly“.

Trump scoffed. “She’s having a lot of fun”, while running away from her troubled HP tenure and losing Senate race in California, he said. “Do you think she’s a bimbo?” she asked. Stone denied being fired, saying he resigned over the direction of Trump’s campaign.
