Spurs in talks for N’Jie
West Brom forward Berahino is a long-term target for Spurs while Hernandez will be third choice striker at Manchester United this season.
Lyon have not yet responded to the latest offer, with the report claiming they will not do so, as they have made Tottenham fully aware of their expectations.
Mauricio Pochettino is keen on the player to add some pace to his attack.
Discussions between Tottenham officials and Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas have mainly centred on the structure of the transfer, which will include several performance-related add-ons.
Will Spurs get their hands on N’Jie?
Daniel Levy, the Tottenham chairman, is due to return from holiday in Florida on Monday and will look to push through the club’s planned transfer business.
So far this summer, Spurs have only signed defensive players in Kevin Wimmer, Kieran Trippier and Toby Alderweireld.
It’s particularly telling that N’jie did not feature at all in Lyon’s opening round draw against Lorient Sunday evening. He scored seven goals in 30 Ligue 1 appearances for Lyon last season and is noted for ability to shoot from distance and well as his dribbling skills.
Tottenham are still tracking West Bromwich Albion’s Saido Berahino, but there remains a sizeable difference in the two club’s valuation of the England Under-21 global.
Spurs are still hoping to offload Emmanuel Adebayor, Aaron Lennon and Roberto Soldado before the transfer window shuts.
Spurs have been linked with a number other attacking targets already this summer, but have had little success.
