New ‘Star Wars’ spot gives glimpse at the First Order
The first two trailers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens have been met with a massive media fanfare, with the internet coming to a standstill in the hours before their releases release.
The official Korean Star Wars YouTube channel have posted a video called “Star Wars: The Force Waking Up”.
Off-duty Stormtroopers were spotted chatting with the crew of “Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens“, on the desert styled sets of the movie in London. And we get to see a brand new planet, which is partly covered in snow.
You don’t have to go a theater or a fan event to watch the most recent glimpse of the movie, but it also only contains a few brief seconds of yet unseen footage.
“On the “Star Wars” front, we know there is just incredible interest in this film”, Iger said. Domhnall Gleeson’s General Hux seems to be the man at the podium, which is hard to see in the first GIF.
The movie marathon lands inbetween Secret Cinema’s screenings of The Empire Strikes Back in London and precedes the launch of a new Star Wars film that might actually be good.
Behind him stand three more high ranking officers and Captain Phasma, identifiable by her chrome armor, beneath which is Game Of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie.
And the series’ original stars, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Peter Mayhew, and Anthony Daniels, are set to appear in the film as well. In fact, that single shot may have revealed more than we may think. It has been reported that only 28 scenes out of “The Force Awakens'” 357 scenes use CGI. There is nothing in this spot that would qualify as a spoiler, and frankly much of the 30-second commercial is comprised of footage from the first teaser that dropped last Thanksgiving.
