Arrow’s Stephen Amell To Appear On WWE Raw Tonight
Still, tonight’s Monday Night Raw is said to possibly be rather light on star power, so that could be WWE’s reasoning.
This hasn’t officially been announced but Rollins threw down the challenge for a title vs. title (WWE world heavyweight vs. US) match on Raw last Monday and every indication is that’s what we’re getting. Each week, it is rated one of the most socially active shows on cable television and continues to be a “must-stop” for celebrities to reach WWE’s TV audience and its more than half a billion social media followers.
Now it appears that also Daniel Bryan is backstage at the show.
Two Superstars that may return tonight include Dolph Ziggler and Ryback. My Improbable Journey to the Main Event of WrestleMania which recently debuted on the New York Times best sellers list.
Amell appeared in the front row several weeks ago on Raw, and he got into a staredown with Stardust. The way the feud has been written so far, all signs point to Neville, who has some comic book stylings of his own as the “Man Gravity Forgot”, actually locking up with Stardust on August 23 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Though at one point it looked like we might see Amell in the ring at the WWE’s second biggest pay-per-view event of the year, SummerSlam, it now seems more likely that he’ll just be there to “give the rub” to Stardust and leave the in-ring work to a proxy. Ryback has out of action since the go home show for WWE Battleground due to a staph infection. If he returns tonight, that angle will start.
Then WWE posted a photo on Instagram of Bryan arriving to Raw with his wife Brie Bella and they specifically wrote that he will be live on Raw. Lesnar is not in town and is not scheduled to be at the show.
