Ten alleged Taliban members executed by Daesh in latest gruesome video
Purportedly filmed in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province, the clip shows the militants burying several improvised explosive devices (IEDS) beneath the ground before covering them with soil, according to the global Business Times.
Militant Islamic group, ISIS has released new video footage (see below) showcasing the execution of ten prisoners by forcing the condemned men to kneel in front of a mound laden with explosives which are then detonated.
IS militants have been killing Afghans fighting for rival groups, and for the central Afghan government, which has been pushing back against the extremists.
The video shows men, with their hands tied and blindfolded, being led by armed militants.
The video shows the notorious terrorists using a new way to kill their victims by digging holes in the ground and planting explosive materials in them.
The video appears heavily co-choreographed with the ISIS fighters riding on horses across the green hills with the early morning fog adding to dramatic effect.
ISIS is known for its brutal and cruel ways of executing prisoners like burning them alive and drowning hostages in metal cages.
The two arriving jihadis appear surprisingly young as they sport fashionable looking footwears to match their long flowing shalmar khameez.
All ten of the victims are blindfolded with a beige coloured scarf, with several of the victims appearing to be elderly in comparison to their young captors.
Apparently eager to perform their horrifying act of execution, the two hurriedly joined the line of terrorists standing behind the line of prisoners.
The killers then scurried away from the hillside before the bombs went off, killing the kneeling prisoners.
The Mail noted that the final scenes of the video are “too graphic to describe but represent the inhumane brutality of the jihadi organisation, who are continuing to grow in strength in Afghanistan“.
