The price of monthly and quarterly PS Plus subscriptions will increase on
Sony has confirmed it’s set to increase how much it costs to purchase a one or three month PS Plus subscription in the UK and Europe.
PlayStation 4 users should start buckling up since an upcoming subscription fee increase is on its way to PlayStation Plus subscribers in Europe, Push Square reports. They will be more in line with current market prices for the one month and quarterly options. “We will continue to invest in PS Plus to ensure an unparalleled experience, featuring the best quality games and features”. The report cites that the quarterly option wll increase from £11.99 to £14.99 with only the European markets to be impacted at this time.
The service also offers users regular discounts on new releases but other elements of it have drawn plenty of criticism, particularly the poor stability of its servers and small 1GB of cloud storage.
The PlayStation Plus subscription fee increase has only been confirmed in Europe as of writing.
PlayStation fans are now demanding more from Sony and the company should meet these demands if it wants to maintain their subscription to the PlayStation Plus.
“We know that there are lots of PS4 owners that have either never played games before or used to have an Xbox or a Nintendo who have never had the chance to play something like the Uncharted trilogy…” But it seems like Sony would not give in to subscribers’ demands just yet and the most that it can offer is “Knack”.
