Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux Are Married
It was a three-year engagement for Aniston, 45, and Theroux, 43, who had been friends for many years before dating, leading observers to routinely wonder if the couple was breaking up.
The guests included John Krasinski and wife Emily Blunt, Howard Stern, Chelsea Handler, Sia, Ellen DeGeneres and Lisa Kudrow.
The couple got married last night in front of 70 family members and friends, who were tricked that it was Theroux’s birthday bash, reported Us magazine.
Aniston gained stardom through her show “Friends” which aired continuously for 10 years. Meanwhile, Theroux’s best man was his best friend Scott Campbell, a tattoo artist who is married to actress Lake Bell.
As news broke about the nuptials, Aniston and her new husband were spotted boarding a private jet at Van Nuys Airport in California.
A source told People magazine: “The last guest to leave was Courteney”. Other triggers suggesting the party was actually a surprise wedding was the cake, which was topped with two muppet-like characters, one male and one female.
Our sources say Jen told friends she was throwing a surprise 44th bday bash for Justin.
At the time, Pitt was married to Aniston but has always denied allegations of cheating.
The duo even built a large shed on their property to hide the wedding furniture in in the days prior to the ceremony, so guests did not expect a thing!
The wedding in her garden was very different from Aniston’s wedding to Pitt in August 2000, which took place on a Malibu cliff top with four bands, a gospel choir and fireworks. They also had their pool covered to create more walking space in the backyard.
But the rumor-mill is working overtime about Theroux jeopardizing the couple’s newly consummated marriage by diving into work, with his return to HBO’s leftovers.
