First GOP Presidential Debate
Early in the debate, Fox News’ Chris Wallace, one of the moderators, pressed Trump on some of his past statements about undocumented immigration – the signature issue of Trump’s campaign.
“When I said the Rosie O’Donnell thing, the room broke up”. You once told a contestant on “Celebrity Apprentice” it would be a pretty picture to see her on her knees. “Try explaining that 2 ur kids”, she wrote on Twitter, less than 20 minutes after Trump’s initial comments. Clearly, there is still a lot of bad blood between the two, with The Donald never missing a chance to take a jab at his enemy, even in the political arena.
Because somebody doesn’t think the way I do, doesn’t mean that I can’t care about them or I can’t love them. “When he’s free form, uninterrupted, when he can do the flight of ideas, when he can go on on his own and ramble – he’s entertaining”, Krauthammer says during his appearance on “The Kelly File” on Friday (Aug. 8).
Trump also offered an implied threat to Kelly.
“And how will you answer the charge from Hillary Clinton, who was likely to be the Democratic nominee, that you are part of the war on women?” “I don’t have time for total political correctness”, Trump said of his blunt manner of speaking.
“And to be honest you, this country doesn’t have time either”. Trump then phoned in to “Fox & Friends” to say that he felt fine taking the stage with the other nine GOP candidates, until Kelly nailed him with “that really tough question”.
Their Twitter battles date back to 2011 when Trump commented on her engagement to partner Michelle Rounds.
I don’t think he has any proof.
There was one star of the first Republican primary debate on Thursday (Aug. 6) night – and that’s Donald Trump.
The feud between the former talk show host and the businessman, who owns property in Bedford, started in 2006 when O’Donnell called him a “snake-oil salesman” during a discussion on “The View“. At the time Trump responded by saying that the United States is too focused on politically correct language.
