Sarah Michelle Gellar pays a touching tribute to her co-star Robin Williams
Sarah Michelle Gellar worked alongside the actor on one of his final projects, playing his daughter in the sitcom “The insane Ones”, and she’s posted an emotional message on Instagram.
“Thank you to the incomparable @dr_woo_ssc for so beautifully bringing my reminders to life”, she wrote, thanking tattoo artist Dr. Woo of Mike Mahoney’s Shamrock Social Club in Hollywood.
He also starred in the CBS comedy The insane Ones, which was cancelled in 2014 after one season.
The Disney adaptation of the “Arebian Nights” story about Alladin would have been mercilessly incomplete had it not been for Robin Williams’ voice-over to Genie.
His death was shocking, in its nature as well as the unexpectedness off it, and still the disbelief resonates that the man behind great films such as Mrs Doubtfire and Good Will Hunting is gone.
