Rizzo, Soler drive in 2 as surging Cubs beat Brewers 6

Jungmann, the rookie right-hander who has thrust himself into the Brewers’ plans with a surprising season, entered the game with a 6-3 record and 2.26 earned run average. But catcher Jonathan Lucroy dropped the ball on the tag for an error, allowing Soler to score.
Chicago made it 4-0 in the third when second baseman Chris Coghlan walked, stole second on an overturned call and came home on Rizzo’s double to center with none out.
Jungmann (6-4) went two and two third innings giving up four runs, two of which were earned, on five hits while waking three and striking out three.
It was the eighth straight game in which the opposing pitcher has failed to get through six innings against this Cubs lineup.
