Chris Pratt’s Painting in a Washington Restaurant
America’s sweetheart, Chris Pratt, confirmed Tuesday night that yes, he fancied himself quite the artist in high school.
The mural, which appears to still be displayed prominently on a wall inside Omega Pizza & Pasta, was recently rediscovered by an Imgur user who posted photos of it to the image sharing site. It’s unclear which magazine published the article based on the image alone.
The now 36-year-old actor even gave it his autograph!
Most famously, he was a regular on a WB (now CW) network drama called “Everwood”, which ran for 4 years.
Pratt, who grew up in Lake Stevens, is even immortalized in a news clipping presented right near the bottom of the painting. “He’s Hilarious … and He’s Adding Mural Painting to the List!” is categorized as “entertainment”.
Besides being generally awesome and starring in one of the highest grossing movies of all time, theJurassic World star is apparently also an amateur painter.
As the restaurant’s Facebook page notes, Pratt is happy to dole out recommendations for the location to famous NFL players.
According to the Imgur user, Pratt was best friends with the son of the restaurant owner in high school, and used to work there as a dishwasher. A local paper, the HeraldNet, noted in a 2014 article that Pratt and his wife, actress Anna Farris, stopped “at Omega Pizza & Pasta in Granite Falls, where the owners are longtime family friends”.
