Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor UFC Featherweight Championship bout set for December
Former title contender Chad Mendes stepped up to take Aldo’s place, and McGregor wound up beating Mendes via a second round technical knockout to take the interim belt.
Conor McGregor will face Jose Aldo for the UFC featherweight title at UFC 194 in Las Vegas on December 12.
Aldo says that he is a lot better now and promises to hand McGregor a sound beating when they do meet up. Conor McGregor had neither graduated from high school nor fought in a cage for the first time the last time Aldo lost.
With these being said, MMA fans are looking forward and already geared with excitement to see the fight on December in AT&T Stadium. He has swagger that only a handful of athletes have. All test results came back clean, although not without come controversy swirling around a Jose Aldo test collection prior to him dropping off the card.
Johnson (22-2-1) knows a thing or two about defending a title against all challengers. Aldo and McGregor are expected to receive their highest payday and the right to be called The Undisputed UFC Featherweight Champion of the World.
A trio of bouts is also on its way to Japan for the UFC Fight Night event on September 27 at Saitama Super Arena. In other words, Aldo enters the fight on a decade-long winning streak.
“The deal with Cyborg is, we told her to make 135 (pounds) and then we would talk about a fight with Ronda”, White said.
While we expect this to change pretty quickly, a search this afternoon – the day the fight was announced – reveals that you can get return flights to Las Vegas from Dublin for approximately €530.
UFC 194 will air live on pay-per-view.
