Sanders surges ahead of Clinton in NH
Clinton has even started to signal that she is looking past her own primary debates, another sign she is steadily urging Democrats to begin thinking of her as the party standard-bearer who has the strength to stand up to Republicans. Today’s poll is the first to show Sanders, whose liberal policies are popular with the Democratic base, ahead of Clinton in New Hampshire. Other surveys show similar drops and indicate her lead over Sanders has eroded.
But there hasn’t been a lot of recent polls in New Hampshire.
Hillary Clinton is responding to Donald Trump’s comment about Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly.
“I am so looking forward to debating whomever emerges from their [the GOP] process”, Clinton said Monday at an event in Manchester, New Hampshire. Her eyes are also set on another rival who may be hitting much closer to home.
The audience for the tougher language is both Democratic primary voters and general election voters, according to the campaign, although it is plain that reassuring politically active Democrats that Clinton will scrap with Republicans is a major motivation. “Their policies are horrendous”, Benenson said. Marco Rubio of Florida, said it raised about $16 million through June.
