New ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Pics Reveal The New Big Bads
Apparently director J.J. Abrams and screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan went for long walks with a voice recorder running as they tried to map out the state of the galaxy in the new film.
Additionally, coming this November to Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles is a three-day Star Wars: The Force Awakens art exhibit featuring top professional and emerging contemporary artists.
First and foremost, Harrison Ford’s Han Solo will be playing a leading role in the movie alongside the new generation of actors. You can be sure it will also be chock full of costumes and merchandise and we’re likely to get a look at related properties like the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront from EA Games. Abrams’ relaunch of Star Wars have been released, offering a tantalizing glimpse of what’s to come. A new twist to the family drama, the magazine reveals offhandedly, is that Luke’s sister Leia now has her own lightsaber… and it’s the one that Darth Vader used to use, before his death. They’ve lived the same 30 years I have. Not that we haven’t already seen plenty of excellent photos from the new Star Wars, but as always the more we see, the better. Abrams’ mysterious new Star Wars adventure, including Daisy Ridley’s Rey freeing BB-8 from the net of a mysterious scavenger, who seems to be riding some kind of cross between a droid and an alien.
“In the context of talking about story and laying out what we were thinking, I said one thing to him,” Kennedy recalls. “Age does not necessarily bring wisdom; it just brings experience”.
