Jordan Spieth using U.S. Open trophy to mess with Phil Mickelson
He tied for 12th at the Masters, cut at the U.S. Open and tied for 30th at The Open.

With compatriots Jordan Spieth claiming the Masters and the US Open and Zack Johnson winning the Open Championship this year, Fowler will be hoping to add to the US dominance of this year’s majors. We’ll see if we can get somebody to carry it around for the round. And to win the way I did, making birdies coming in, definitely made it that much better.
How many golfers have won all four majors?
All three have had good chances to win maiden major titles without quite getting it done, though it seems just a matter of time. We discussed what motivates him, what he’s doing better and why he’s hoisted two trophies so far in 2015.
“Ultimately it would be nice to have a major championship on the resume”.
“It’s cool to look at it and know that I played well enough to win”.
How hard is it to realize that your performance relative to the field would have won several majors in other years and do you pay attention to stuff like that?
“I was a nervous wreck back then and, while I still have nerves at majors, I know what to expect and how to treat them. You just really have to be patient and not push any harder than needed”.
Spieth told reporters on Sunday that one of the rounds he’ll play at Whistling Straits will be alongside Justin Thomas as they take on Rickie Fowler and Mickelson.

Whenever Phil Mickelson, in some far-off future, does decide to call it quits on his Hall of Fame career, you can be sure he will not go quietly into that good night.
“I’m trying to take care of my business, getting into the thick of things and winning more often”.
This was one of the more anticipated Tuesday money games given all the star power.
“So I’m looking forward to getting off to a good start this week and giving myself a chance”.
“We talk a lot of trash out there”.
