Power couples met at Kensington Palace- Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt enjoyed with Kate Middleton and Prince William
On 26th June, 2015, two historical instances took place. First, the Supreme Court of the US legalized same gender marriage and second, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt enjoyed tea with Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Both the couples met primarily at a personal meeting at the Kensington Palace. Cambridge’s Duke and Duchess met the renowned couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Pitt in a private meeting on Friday at the Kensington Palace. They discussed how to stop the wildlife illegal trafficking business.
Angelina and Brad came down to London early morning so that she could be present at the luncheon of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on Monday. It is her assignment on UK’s overseas policy and her crusade to finish off sexual violence. At 3:45 p.m. the United Nations Special Envoy joined the couple and took them to the Kensington Palace for the casual meeting with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Prince William and Kate Middleton were very happy to meet the star couple. Later we heard that Prince George, the elder son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, also joined them. Brad and Jolie’s children were in London but did not go to the Palace.
The super Hollywood couple took a very special present for Princess Charlotte, the second child, of the Duke and Duchess. Princess Charlotte was born last month only. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Pitt spent much larger time with the Duke and Duchess than their scheduled time. Both the couples enjoyed each other’s company a lot. However, Prince William, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were present at the BAFTA 2014 awards, but they did not meet personally with each other.
Jolie was awarded an Honorary Dame Commander in a personal Buckingham Palace ceremony by Queen Elizabeth II in 2014 October. It is a great honor for Jolie, which she fondly remembers.
