Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’ Q and A on Twitter
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be out this September. The PC version of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was due to be released some 15 days after the release of the game on consoles but it has been shifted to an earlier date to align with the game’s release on console.
The PlayStation 4 version runs at 1080p at 60 fps. As for the PC, the title will render at 3840 x 2160 pixels and run at 60fps.
Compared to the Xbox One version (pictured below), its appears Microsoft gamers will also be able to enjoy a visually stunning experience, even if they haven’t yet made the hardware upgrade.
Players can customize their FOB either online or offline gameplays and Konami hinted that the eyewear that Snake’ wears within “The Phantom Pain” can be customizable, but players cannot use seperate eyewear in-game. While we didn’t get to see the game at this year’s E3, Square Enix promised that they would have new information to share in coming events, along with a few important announcements about the game. In other words, you and your friends can’t defend bases at the same time. “

the developer explained.
According to Konami’s answer to @YanNeppy’s question, fans can do several things while inside the mother base including train by target practice, take a shower, explore and “talk and fight with fellow Diamond Dogs”. Network features are needed in Metal Gear Online and Forward Operating Bases. The company wrote, “To play online, you’ll need to have PS Plus subscription for PS4 and Xbox Live Gold for Xbox One/Xbox 360”.
