Russell, ex-Cats impersonate National Basketball Association stars
Who will win Rookie of the Year?
The end of summer is a unusual time for rookies in the National Basketball Association. In a recent interview, Jordan admitted that he’s fine with Bryant doing his moves and that he likes Bryant, whom he believes is one of the best in the game.
Kobe would undoubtedly be able to stretch the floor at the four spot and if he did it well enough, it would force the hand of opponents in terms of going smaller in order to defend him. Los Angeles needs you.
His career, much like his game, has been worthy of imitation, from his signature shot – a textbook-form mid-range jumper, off the backboard no less – to his nickname, which doubles as a nod to the completeness of a dynamic player and the complete absence of a dynamic personality.
“When Kobe is healthy, 19 years in the game he is still elite”. The only bright spots for the team were Jordan Clarkson playing well as a second-round pick and the prospect of a high lottery selection. Kobe will be spent if he to guard bigs like that.
It doesn’t hurt that this is deemed a rivalry and there are plenty of storylines that feed into this game such as the nixed Chris Paul trade, D’Angelo Russell working out with Chris Paul to prepare for the draft and Doc Rivers covering up the Lakers’ championship banners.
The veteran additions the Lakers made are somewhat promising. However, the Lakers better be careful not to overuse this setup as Bryant’s frail body will get banged up. Desperation will lead to use Bryant at the power forward position at times and that’s not the worst idea.
