‘Doctor Who’ Hypes Guest Maisie Williams in Season 9 Trailer

Peter Capaldi returns for his second series as the Time Lord, and opens the trailer by rushing into the TARDIS saying “sorry I’m late”. We mean, this trailer was basically all action, with bits of Maisie Williams (from Game of Thrones), the Doctor and Clara getting along for once and Missy, aka the female regeneration of the Doctor’s nemesis, the Master.

“I’m the Doctor and I save people”, the Doctor declares.

The Doctor and Clara’s new journeys will take them to deadly alien planets, creepy underwater bases, Vikings villages, a global Zygon uprising and hidden alien dens, to the very end of time itself.

There are the new fans that have come on since the show returned to television and the ones that have been with Doctor Who since the days of bad CGI and rubber monsters. Also confirmed for guest spots for in the upcoming episodes are Reece Shearsmith, Rebecca Front, Rufus Hound, Paul Kaye, Elaine Tan, Neet Mohan, Bethany Black, Paul Courtenay Hyu, Joivan Wade and Sophie Stone.
