Prankster invades Kanye West stage at Glastonbury festival
The rapper got off to a strong start with his set, which featured Golddigger, N***as In Paris and New Slaves, but critics claimed an interlude involving Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and a series of Auto-Tuned ballads was ‘self-indulgent’ before he recovered the set with some crowd-pleasing hits.
On Saturday June, 27, someone took it upon themselves to poke fun at one of West’s most infamous egotistical moments – when he was interrupted on stage by a British comedian, Lee Nelson, who stormed the stage wearing a “Lee-Zus” t-shirt, but was quickly removed by security.

KANYE WEST was joined by an uninvited guest during his controversial headline slot at Britain’s Glastonbury festival on Saturday night (27Jun15) when a man leaped onto the stage.
Parker later speculated that some Kanye fans might be disappointed in his choice of what some see as a “trophy wife”. “That was for you @taylorswift13 #Leezus” He also posted other messages pertaining to his stint during Kanye West’s performance.
And they, of course, had the bright idea to take it along to the musical festival for Kanye West‘s set last night.
West repeated the stunt at this year’s Grammy awards when he interrupted Beck after the artist won Album of the Year, again saying Beyonce deserved the award.
“Kanye West cannot write, sing or play, so I have trouble with him as anything but a poser”, he added. “For a society that’s been greyed out by mediocrity, it’s like eating a whole bunch of McDonald’s and then you get some real food”.
What might be the most well-known, recognizable rock ballad in existence eventually progressed into West’s own “Can’t Tell Me Nothing”, a somewhat far cry from Queen’s original.
