‘Game of Thrones’ Spoilers: Ned Stark returning in Season 6
We’ve yet to see the last of the traitor Walder Frey on Game of Thrones.
Sean Bean isn’t returning to reprise his role as the head of the Stark family – the character is going to be taken over be 13-year-old English actor, Sebastian Croft. Although, it appears he will not be returning from the dead, but instead a younger version of Ned will appear via a flashback, something that Sean Bean suggested in earlier interviews in relation to Jon Snow’s parentage. Croft is a theater actor who has been in West Finish productions of “Matilda” and “Les Miserables“.
David Bradley reportedly has confirmed his return to “Recreation of Thrones”, however didn’t say if he can be part of the upcoming Season 6. Ned Stark is back.
Sebastian Croft, 13, has landed the role after a casting call looking for a boy with dark hair, a narrow face, green eyes, and who could put on a Northern accent.
The character of the younger Ned appearing in the new season is not that much of a surprise. We also don’t know if this flashback will have anything to do with Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) and his training with the Three-Eyed Raven (Max von Sydow).
The success of the TV series Game of Thrones has been enormous since the pilot episode. Although Ned was beheaded for treason in Season 1, his presence has always been felt and his spirit, name, and revenge for his death has been the driving factor behind numerous battles, decisions, and deaths of the multiple characters on the series.
Bradley also revealed that he’s a fan of the character, because he’s been so bad.
It seems safe to say that Season 6 will be a wild ride for fans of the show.
