Australia were at their ruthless best against a gallant South Africa at the Netball World Cup in Sydney, outclassing the Proteas 66-31 to secure a top-two finish in Pool F – and a place in the semi-finals.
Already twice a world champion to the tune of 2007 and 2011 title victories with the Diamonds, she’s hoping to take a hat-trick in front of a home crowd before retiring at the end of the tournament.
But the Malawi Queens continued to frustrate the Ferns and, spurred on by the crowd, won the third quarter, trailing the Ferns by just three going into the final term. They have to beat England to qualify for the semifinals.

After the first basket, Malawi Queen settled their nerves and were able to player their usual games of silky passes and good combination of Sindi Simutowe, Bridget Kumwenda and Mwai.
Malawi has shooting accuracy of 89 percent while New Zealand had 86 percent.
