The new Samsung Galaxy could be here

The leaked document, which was obtained by GSM Arena, featured a Samsung device with model number SM-G9280. It is a very good news to everyone who is wanting to have SamSung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge.

Seemingly powering the device is an octa-core Exynos 7420 chip built by Samsung and clocked to 1.5GHz. Called “Galaxy Unpacked”, Samsung called on media and fans to “Note the Date”, obviously referring to an announcement that has to do with one of Samsung’s flagship phablets, the Galaxy Note. While most of the attention has been given to the Galaxy Note 5, this latest one puts to focus on the curved edges of the Galaxy S6 edge+. There has also been chatter that the device will have a 5.5-inch display, similar to the Galaxy Note Edge’s 5.6.-inch display.

Independent said that the the upcoming instalment, which is expected to be announced during Samsung’s August. 13 event, will reportedly come with an “optional keyboard” expected to make Blackberry users interested in the device.

It’s in fact the same situation for 3 Galaxy phones on Verizon. Though leaks in recent months have provided some information about the phone, the unprecedented photos have taken the online tech community by storm.

Whether it was a genuine leak or a way to drum up excitement, Samsung’s French website on Tuesday briefly released pre-order details for a Galaxy S6 Edge+ smartphone ahead of the company’s “Unpacked” launch event this Thursday. According to BGR, by September 4, the day after pre-orders are all registered and closed, the new phablet will likely show up in stores.

“We are expecting Note 5 to be priced somewhere between Dh2500 to Dh2800”, he added.

As for its price, the Romanian retailer site Evomag.ro noted that the 32GB version of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will cost around $1,009. With Samsung removing the feature from the Samsung Galaxy S6, there were plenty of fears that the same thing would happen to the next iteration of Sammy’s high-end phablet.
