Manning is now serving a 35-year prison sentence after being convicted of espionage for leaking over 700,000 classified documents to Wikileaks while working for the military in Iraq.
“These absurd charges against Chelsea, and the outrageous threat of indefinite solitary confinement, are clearly an attempt to silence Chelsea’s important voice and cut her off from the outside world”, the statement said.

Ms Hollander said: “I think it’s harassment”.
On 2 July 2015, during dinner chow, inmate Manning was approached by [a correctional specialist] to inform inmate Manning to be aware of her surroundings because [the correctional specialist] was nearly hit with some food inmate Manning swept off the table.
Hollander is specially troubled from the proven fact that Manningis studying content was removed from her, including a book about transgender concerns, the guide “Hacker, Hoaxer, Whistleblower, Traveler – The Numerous People of Unknown”, the guide “I’m Malala”, a problem of Multicultural magazine comprising an appointment with Manning and also the U.S. Senate statement on Central Intelligence Agency torture. One supposed incident of disrespect simply stemmed from saying “I want my lawyer”, according to her lawyer. “We are hopeful that the prison will respond by dismissing these charges and ensuring that she is not unfairly targeted based on her activism, her identity, or her pending lawsuit”.
