Watch Shia LaBeouf’s Shirtless Freestyle Rap
Yes, believe it or not, Shia LaBeouf is embroiled in another plagiarism controversy. (To be honest, it looks like this group just ran into him while hiking and wound up getting the show of their lives.).
Video of LaBeouf freestyle-rapping surfaced this weekend, and someone from rap collective Anomolies pointed out on Instagram that some of the lines he rapped were taken from Anomolies’ 1999 song, “Perfectionist”. His lyrics include: “I’m so underground, rap kids call me Tubman” and “Still breaking down potatoes like I’m f-king Galileo”. We cannot wait for the mixtape.
You know that video of Shia LaBeouf rapping?
“I’ve got a sick flow, shifting gears spit flow. Rockin’ like a novice, but I rock it like a rocket though”, the actor raps at the beginning of the video. LaBeouf has been in North Dakota for American Honey.
YouTubers have given positive feedback on his performance with user Vickers 08 commenting “straight fire!! went so hard at the end” while Justin Roman lamented “It’s kinda sad when Shia LaBeouf’s freestyle is better than most of what’s out now…jk the last 30 seconds was fire tho lol”.
He reportedly received 20 stitches and 12 staples in his head and finger after he crashed through a glass window during a stunt and was photographed on Thursday (25Jun15) wearing a large bandage around his head. “He is due back on set [Thursday]”, said his rep.
