Miley Cyrus Says Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ Video Sets Bad Example
Regardless of the how and why, one has to wonder if Cyrus has a point in how society defines role models and whether Swift’s video is just as provocative as Miley’s sexual exploits and innuendos. I mean I’m genuinely concerned that we’re all going to turn on MTV on August 30 and watch Miley standing on stage in complete silence wagging her tongue every which way while subtitles translate. Cyrus also talked about being “gender-fluid” and “gender-neutral”.
Cyrus has of course become known for being more of a negative role model herself because of a number of incidents including, but not limited to, her penchant for nudity and her unashamed drug use.
The 22-year-old singer admits starring in the Disney musical TV series gave her unrealistic ideas about beauty, and led to her developing issues with her own body image.
In a recent Marie Claire interview for the songstress’ cover story, she made an offhand comment about the video that may start a new feud between the two, US Weekly reported.
“I don’t really stress too much about being out there”, she says.
